SWE Scholarship Program NEW!! The Southwest Idaho SWE section offers scholarships to females from Idaho entering their freshmen year of college in engineering or an engineering-related field. Scholarships range from $500 to $2000, and recipients are selected based on the quality of a written essay as well as academic acheivements. For more specific information, refer to the 2008 student information sheet. A form updated for 2010 will be posted soon. The national SWE organization also offers scholarships at www.swe.org How to Apply To apply for a scholarship, complete the following forms 1.Aplication 2.Teacher Reference and email them, along with your personal essay, to the SW-Idaho SWE scholarship committee (swe.scholarship2009@gmail.com) Applications must be completed and postmarked no later than March 1, 2010 to be considered.
