IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY HUNTSMAN SCHOLARSHIP
The purpose of the ISU Huntsman Scholarship is to recognize outstanding new students and offset the first year costs for incoming freshmen. The amount of the award is $5000.00 for the freshman year. The scholarship criteria is listed below. The application process requires cmpletion of the application and a statement from the student, plus the submission of the FAFSA.
The Eligibility criteria are as follows:
The student must be admitted to Idaho State University and plan to begin at ISU in Fall 2010. The student must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA, and demonstrate the financial need by submitting FAFSA (fafsa.ed.gov) by March 26, 2010. The student must have leadership, talent, and/or an academic ability that merits scholarship award, and must be an incoming freshmen. Also they must be a recent High School Graduate, or be graduating from High School as a senior. The student must be a resident of Southeastern Idaho (preference to students from Teton, Bonneville, and Bannock counties; secondary preference ot students from counties adjacent to those three counties.
