College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Scholarships at the University of Idaho
The University of Idaho gave out more than $25 million in scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year and $100 million in Financial Aid.
The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences offers $600,000 of this to CALS students. of 525 college of Agricultural and Life Sciences Scholarships, only 30 require special applications. As a student, you fill out the scholarship information portion of your UI application which means you are automically considered for most CALS scholarships. However, as mentioned above, 30 of our scholarships require a special application. to see the list of scholarships you are eligible for:
1. Go to www.uidaho.edu/cals/links/scholarships
2. Enter your Major, Enter Year in School, enter Your GPA, and answer the question: Are you an Idaho resident? Hit search (The year in school would be what you will be in 2010-2011)
3. You will see a list of all CALS scholarships that you are eligible for. If you click on the name of the schoarship, then that link will take you to a page that describes the criteria for that scholarship.
If it says "Requires Additional Application" in your list of eligible scholarships, then this is one of the 30 scholarships that require you to fill out a separate application to be considered for this scholarship. Click on the name of the scholarship and scroll to the bottom of that page. There is the application for that scholarship. Follow the instructions on the application:
