Engineering Camps at Boise State

e-Day-Grades 7-10
Saturday, April 17, 2010
Hosted by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at Boise State University, this one-day camp provides hands-on activities and demonstrations that encourage students to explore engineering and computer science. This is a FREE event. Free transportation provided from Wilder, Marsing, Caldwell, Application deadline is April 1, 2010.

e-Camp- Grades 8-9
June 6-8, 2010
Students who are currently in 8th or 9th grade can use hands-on activities and projects involving problem solving and teamwork to explore careers in engineering, and computer science while living on campus in a college dormitory. All food, housing and recreational activities provided. Cost- $200 (scholarships available). Enrollment is limited to 40.
Application deadline is May 1st.

e-girls - Grades 9-11
June 11-12, 2010
e-Girls is a free overnight program for girls currently in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. Enrollment is limited to 50 girls. Workshops led by Society of Women Engineers professionals and college students may include:Biomechanics of Footwear, Packaging and the Environment, Virtual Worlds with Alice, Solving Forensic Mysteries, Physics of Rock Climbing/Rope Walking, A World of Career Choices, and more! Cost-FREE.
Application deadline is May 1st.
