Engineering Camps at Boise State e-Day-Grades 7-10 Saturday, April 17, 2010 Hosted by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at Boise State University, this one-day camp provides hands-on activities and demonstrations that encourage students to explore engineering and computer science. This is a FREE event. Free transportation provided from Wilder, Marsing, Caldwell, Application deadline is April 1, 2010. e-Camp- Grades 8-9 June 6-8, 2010 Students who are currently in 8th or 9th grade can use hands-on activities and projects involving problem solving and teamwork to explore careers in engineering, and computer science while living on campus in a college dormitory. All food, housing and recreational activities provided. Cost- $200 (scholarships available). Enrollment is limited to 40. Enrollment is limited to 50 girls. Workshops led by Society of Women Engineers professionals and college students may include:Biomechanics of Footwear, Packaging and the Environment, Virtual Worlds with Alice, Solving Forensic Mysteries, Physics of Rock Climbing/Rope Walking, A World of Career Choices, and more!
