We subscribe to the belief that each individual shall be accepted into the educational program
as they are, that they shall be provided with a stimulating environment and learning experiences conceived to promote social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth consistent with their abilities.
Attendance Is Important
Attendance District Goal -- 97%
Student achievement is directly tied to attendance, and so is district funding. This means that every absence is
both a missed opportunity for learning, AND lost revenue for our school district.
Lost revenue means fewer resources to
educate our children. If we can hold student attendance at 97% rather than 94%,
our state aid payments over the school year could increase by $100,000!
