www.LiLI.org, an Idaho State Library database web site launched in 1998, has been updated and made even easier to use. LiLI.org stands for Libraries Linking Idaho and is a free service, accessible through any Internet-connected computer, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With the Idaho Public Schools joint funding, LiLI.org databases have been fine-tuned to offer easier access and better value to Idaho students. The new LiLI.org offers 32 different databases easily and quickly accessed. While available to all Idahoans, several of the databases have carefully selected materials to give students a helping hand with homework and research, essentially putting library resources at their fingertips.

These databases feature full-text articles with graphics and photography from the reference books, current major newspapers, magazines, and journals. This amount and quality of information is usually only found in larger school libraries, and public and college library collections, according to Anne Abrams, public library consultant at the Idaho State Library.
